Providing an opportunity for partnerships and networking between industry and university researchers. Last year’s showcase was attended by more than 300 industry representatives. This year, the showcase will encompass more than 100 research displays within the London Convention Centre.

WHAT: WORLDiscoveries (TM) Research Showcase is an event where more than 100 Western faculty members and graduate students will present their cutting-edge research results in poster format - highlighting the latest advances at our research-intensive University.

  • Explore over 100 poster presentations highlighting the latest advances in imaging, materials and biomaterials, software and telecommunications, and environment and energy research.
  • Meet the researchers conducting the innovative work during Tech Talks and networking opportunities.

OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate how Western supports research, develops partnerships with an industrial orientation and transfers technology and knowledge to industry.
